If you live in miami and have walked anywhere you are bound to see the markings of this mysterious artist. Aholsniffsglue is miami's own man of mystery. For nearly a decade, Aholsniffsglue has been showing us the world through his eyes. The eyes that have become a staple and a signature in most of his artwork; bloodshot and droopy, those eyes tell the story of one of Miami's hardest working individuals.
This Hialeah-born craftsman has inhaled the essence of Miami's underground through his street art, fine art, and, of course, the art of party rocking.
As a founding member of the Que Pasa M.I.A. crew that includes fellow party-rockers Jose El Rey, Slim Biscayne, Ahol has taken Miami's night life by storm, throwing some of the most-memorable parties that Miami's underground has seen.
His work has garnered many accolades and he was recently crowned the winner of the Colt 45 Ink The Can Contest in 2008.
His drive to create is fueled by his immersion in the strife of life's harsh realities countered by his constant pursuit of all that is fun. Come join us at Stash Gallery May 9th, and be part of the P(ART)Y– a retrospective of Aholsniffsglue's existence and his creations spanning the last decade.
P(ART)Y, as interpreted by Ahol, is, “The art in any party; a place where fun is omnipresent and only good times are always allowed.” In the essence of Aholsniffglue’s eclectic style, grilled cheese sandwiches and beverages will be served along with special guest DJ, Miami’s own Jose el Rey.
The CCCV crew will be in attendance enjoying all the magic and splendor.
